I have heard so many ambulances today! We live about a minute and a half away from the hospital and hear the ambulances on their way to the hospital. I usually don't care, unless I am going to work that evening. I have to work tonight. That means we probably will have a lot of admissions. And the later in the day I hear them, the greater the chance they will be admitted on my shift. Ugh! We have students coming to work with us tonight and tomorrow night. They make the beginning of the night a little hectic, but they are learning and we need nurses. I really do like working with them and they are helpful.

I was reading our union contract and it looks like I would be making more money working in the ER, which would be cool. I would make about three dollars more, plus the differential for working nights. I would like that! I am just waiting for the manager of the education department to call me back so I can sign up for my classes.

My garden is still empty. That stupid gardener guy. Well, we probably wouldn't have eaten them anyway.
