A perfect example of a patient with dementia whom we nurses would describe as "pleasantly confused"

Patient: "Do I know you? You look familiar."
Nurse's Assistant: "Yes, I was here with you last night."
Patient: "Did we make love?"
Nurse's Assistant: "No..."
Patient: "I didn't think so, but I wasn't sure...."

It had me laughing all night long.
