I just got super glue on my tongue. Thank the Lord, it isn't stuck to anything. It's just there. It's annoying and hard and well, stuck. I guess I deserve it. I shouldn't have had super glue anywhere near my mouth. You see, I have several cracks on my fingers that are killing me, so I bought some super glue and filled in the cracks. I didn't buy the real super glue, of course, because there were others that were cheaper. Two for the price of one, in fact. The stuff took longer than I thought to set and I don't know how it ended up on my tongue, but there it is. I am tired. I am a dork.

that has to taste terrible!
i used to build model airplanes as a kid and let me tell you… that quick-dry model glue is at least as bad as superglue… and I’ve had my fair share of accidents with that stuff! :)

Hey erika- i just happened upon this site after talking with your dad about shane’s page.. i just took a shot in the dark and guessed his user name and what do ya know? here i am.. this little journal page is pretty cool. I don’t think I’m dedicated enough to write in it every day, but still. Yeah i think we have all had our mishaps with super glue even if only a few of us are willing to admit it. Mine has always ( and i do mean ALWAYS ) been to glue my fingers together or to glue some random part to my fingers.. so i feel for ya. Wasn’t super glue used in some war to close wounds of soldiers when doctors weren’t around? anyways, i heard that, and that even though it’s toxic, it’s better than bleeding i guess. It’s probably going to cut my message off since it’s so long, but oh well - Yeah so i hope to see you if you come down to visit in the end of december -

It reminds me of A Christmas Story when the kid got his tongue stuck on the pole!
At least you didn’t get your finger stuck to your tongue or worse yet your tongue stuck to the roof of your mouth!
