So here I am over at Movable Type. Aren't I shnazzy!
I have been working like crazy. I now have four days off, one of which is Shane's birthday. Yay for Shane!
My friend Amy Fuller, resident of Oakland, Oregon, is coming to visit tomorrow night. She and I met back in the summer of 1996 during our summer stay in Nueva Odesea, Mexico. We were the summer interns before there were summer interns and we had lot of wild and crazy times. Unfortunately, I have never been back, but she goes down there all the time. She is on her way to down there this time to stay for over a year. She is the queen of gabachas (foreigners) and she and Mexico should not be separated. It will be fun to see her and to here about all the stuff that has changed since I was there.
She is, courtesy of Shane, going to have a blog while she is down there. I will let you know when it is up and running because she always has crazy stories to tell. They always make you laugh and it's cool to hear about how life is in Mexico, as she interacts with the migrant workers and locals and all. Prepare yourself. It will be cool.

Remember when you took care of the little baby that had had meningitis? I was just thinking about that yesterday because Steve and Arlene were here and shared about another couple opening up a home for children that had special needs, and had taken another little child that had had meningitis.I wonder about how those children were impacted by your visit.
