I think our kitty might be amazing. Amazing in the sense that if we enrolled her in elementary school, she would be in the gifted classes for children who are just a step ahead than the rest. Maeby can fetch. I have only known a few other cats that have been able to do this. I am not sure if all cats could and just aren't given the opportunity to do so or if she is just one of the special, smart kitties out there, but she great at fetching. I don't think she would fetch just anything, though. Just babies. Babies are crumpled up pieces of scrap paper. She loves them. The game of fetch begins with the throwing of the baby and Maeby running as fast as she can to get that baby before it gets away. She grabs it with her teeth, rolls around with it and bats at it a few times, then brings it back to whoever will be so kind to throw it again for her. She will even drop it in your hand when she is at the top of her game. She will sometimes come running back to you with the baby in her mouth, out of breath, and she sounds so funny, wheezing around her paper baby. When she has had about enough, she will drop the baby just outside of your reach and sit down. We have babies everywhere.
They are under every piece of furniture, in our bedside tables, just in case she needs a game before bedtime or first thing in the morning. Sometimes she will just show up with one, so I am sure she has her own stash somewhere. She is a smart little cat and I am so glad we have her. I can't imagine our life without our sweet little princess Maebylline.

hi, that sounds as funny as my cat used to be.She had a stick with a long fleeceband-she took the band and started running like nuts through our apartment-the stick kept hitting the furniture and she was acting like somebody was chasing her. That was so funny.how was your cat after you had spayed her? We had to wear a plastic-collar to stop licking herself.Poor little cat,she looked like stuck in a shell and wasn`t able to walk forward-so sh ewalke to whole time backwards looking like Michael Jackson doing the moonwalk. If she likes the paberbabies how you call them-maybe she likes also these little balls looking like a golfball but they are totally soft and jump very high and far without hurting your furniture. Cats are so much fun and they really know whats going on with their can opener (you and Shane). They looking directly into your soul.
