Today was a good day. We went to Lowe's and bought 175 bricks and then spent a few hours making a planter along our front yard with them. It started out kind of rough, but I decided within the first 15 minutes or so I needed to turn my complaining button off and the rest of it went fairly smoothly-and it looks pretty good. I am liking our front yard. It will look even more awesome when we get some plants in the planter.

We then started to get ready to go to our friend Louis' graduation party (he just graduated from Talbot with his Masters of Divinity for those of you who know him). I spent a lot of time trying to find something to wear. I decided against the too baggy maternity clothes and went for the tight normal sized Erika clothes instead. I was in a bad mood. I cheered up pretty quickly when my dear sweet husband took me to the Gap and I found two new items of clothing I look cute in. We are going to the Shins concert tomorrow night and I am so very happy to have something to wear. A black strapless dress. I used to not have enough up top to hold up a strapless dress, mind you. This is a whole new world. It is a very cute little dress and I am really looking forward to wearing it. I think it will last a while too because the waist is high. Oh I am so happy! I also got a pair of khaki linen pants that are so very loose and comfy.

There were a lot of people at Louis' party I hadn't seen in a while so it was nice to visit and there was a lot of food. It was fun and I am glad we went. It's weird to see people that you haven't seen in a long time that you were really close to at one time in your life. Some of those people were there and it felt like old times.

In closing, I have to mention to both Jeremy and Tisra that I have been drinking a fair share of fresca lately and it reminds me of both of you. Ah, the good old days.

Tisra:

I had nothing to do with the Fresca incident, I just happened to be a witness.

Being that we keep in touch with only a handful of California people, I often wonder about some of the same people that I’m sure you encountered at Louis’ party. Glad to hear that he seems to be doing well.

Jeremy:

Ah yes, the Fresca incident. Remind me, what did I do to deserve that again? I am laughing at the moment. I really enjoyed the time that we all used to spend together…I miss the old gang.
