Yay! Baby is moving around in my tummy and I am feeling it. I have been feeling little flutters since last Friday. I love it! It feels like little tickles- like when you hold a sandcrab and it crawls around on your hand. I honestly wasn't expecting to feel it so early. I thought since this is my first pregnancy, I wouldn't feel it for another week or two. I am happy it happened earlier.

On a not so happy note, my brother and his wife moved to Tennessee yesterday. I am really sad they are gone and will miss them more than I can say, but it is a good move and now I have a great excuse to go visit Tisra! I love my brother and have always been close to him. Our baby is due on his birthday in December. I am hoping that they will make it out for Christmas. I don't know when we will be able to go visit them, but I really am looking forward to it. I am sad to say that I have not toured much of our country and this would be a good opportunity to add a state or two to my short little list. I think they will probably be out here to visit before we make it out there. Can't imagine travelling with a baby.

Tisra:

Congratulations on the baby- I’m so glad that you were able to feel it early. I think I’ve started to feel the flutters, as well. But until it is ‘kicks’ I usually question it.

Travelling with a baby is really not a huge deal. Especially in the first few months when they don’t want to crawl out of your lap on the plane. Kids like Dean’s age (12-18mo.) are difficult because they have discovered the freedom of running and walking and climbing, but they don’t want to sit still! We’ve had really good luck with Grant and Dean…not too many bad travel memories.

Sorry about Andrew. I hope they really enjoy their time there and we’d love to have you as guests any time!
