Well, the good news is that our baby looks healthy and everything is going great. The not-so-good news is that we have a very modest little one who chose not to show off it's little private parts. Can you even believe it? I still can't. Baby is breech right now and it's little legs are curled up in such a way that it is covering it's little area. It's really not that big of a deal, I guess. A lot of people wait, right? I just will have to hold off on buying the sweet flowery girl/cute fishy boy crib set from Potterybarn a little longer. I like yellow. I like white. It's not a big deal. Think of all of the money we will save by not knowing. All those cute little outfits I will put back because I just don't know. It's a good thing.
They are going to give us another quick look at around 28 weeks, but the doctor seemed doubtful that we will have a better view. She said the baby will most likely stay breech until the last month. It really is all my fault. I was breech. I just hope this little guy doesn't stay breech.
We were able to see our babies developing organs and bones and cute little face. It was great and I am really fine with not knowing. I am kind of wondering if I even want to find out at 28 weeks if we can. I probably will.
I think I am now allowed to start discussing names again with Shane. Not sure we are going to share our picks with the world. We may give a few options, but keep the number one picks a secret. At this point we have decided to tell everyone who asks that it will be Erik if it's a boy and Shana if it's a girl. That's all I will tell you.

Tomorrow is the big day. We have an appointment with Dr. Brody at 8:45 tomorrow morning and if baby cooperates, we will know whether to start buying everything pink or everything blue. I am very excited. I kind of have this feeling it's a boy. I have no idea why. It doesn't really matter either way, but it will be fun to know one way or the other.
It has been stinking hot lately. It's been hot outside, but it has been equally hot in our house. We need to get new windows or something. It is so hard to open the ones we have and I think they somehow make it ten times hotter than it should be. Right now, it is eight o'clock at night and it says it is 94 degrees in our house. 94 degrees! That is just wrong. It's not 94 degrees outside. I guess I should be thankful I don't have to wear around a suit made of fur.
Well, I will try to post tomorrow with the big news!

In hopes to alleviate some of my lower back pain, I purchased these on Monday. I am hoping that they will help a little bit. I also bought some compression stockings which I think will be good.
I also ordered a pair of the sandals I mentioned I wanted in my last post. I figure if I like them, I can get the other ones when it gets a little cooler. The sandals will be good for the summer.
Our sweet little Maeby got fixed on Monday. I have spent the last two days pretty much at her side. She is being so very sweet and cuddly. She is so precious. We have cut a sock that she wears around her middle to prevent her from picking at her stitches, which is working really well. She has also acquired the new nickname of sock monkey. She is a sweet cuddly little sock monkey. She is doing well and will be back to chasing her babies in no time.

I want these shoes. I can't stop thinking about them. They look so comfy and cute. And also maybe these.
