I want these shoes. I can't stop thinking about them. They look so comfy and cute. And also maybe these.

Those look like “Erika” shoes to me. It’s as though I can picture you in them, especially the closed toe pair. So pricey, though…but I’m never good at spending money on stuff like that.

Me neither, but I have a connection and I can get them for half the price if I am lucky. It is still a lot, though. My back is bugging me and I was thinking maybe they would help. I need to get new work shoes too, so I probably will only be able to get one of these two and then a good pair of nursie shoes.

It’s hard working while you’re pregnant. I worked nearly up to the end with Grant to eek out as much extra income before I quit permanantly and it wasn’t pleasant. Thankfully, my co-workers pitched in and helped me a great deal to try to keep me at my desk. Some people I know lately that planned well in advance of getting pregnant, simply quit when they got pregnant so they’d have a more restful go of it. I think that’s a great idea if it can be done. Now, while I’m pregnant and at home my activities can be more relaxed, but my co-workers have been replaced with more demanding little people. Pregnancy is physically demanding, regardless.

For being on your feet for nursing shifts, you might want to look into compression stockings. One of the surgeons I worked for said they were priceless during her pregnancy.

I have thought about the stockings, just have to find maternity ones. 12 1/2 hours on my feet is rough and I am feeling it. Every one I work with is great and very helpful, but it still is a very active job. I am very appreciative of my coworkers. It would be nice to stay home, but at this point, I think I would be a little bored and end up spending way too much money to pass the time. I like to shop. So, I will continue to work as long as I can.

You can find compression stockings that are actually attractive online in all varieties for pregnant women. I’ve slightly checked into it because one of my legs is very achy. No visible vericose veins, just an ache. I figure that is a sign for me to take care of myself. The medical grade compression stockings are expensive, though. About 100 dollars. At that price, it’s worth seeing if your insurance will cover the cost. I forgot to ask my doctor about them this week, but plan to on the next visit.

I could probably steal them for free at work if I really wanted to. I don’t think they would be very comfy or functional, though. I would be find with regular old ones I think.
