I had a dentist appointment this morning to get my teeth cleaned. I didn't make it through the appointment. The girl was telling me about a friend of hers who just had a baby and all the sudden, I started sweating and seeing stars and her voice was getting far away. I tried to ignore it, but it wasn't happening. I told her I had to sit up and take a break. After two more episodes of this, a trip to the bathroom where I practically laid on the floor, I told her I was done. I was so embarrassed. Crazy pregnant lady. I got the cleaning done and my top teeth polished. My bottom teeth just won't be as sparkly as the tops. I came home...I actually made it home and laid down for a while with my absolutely precious kitty for a while and I am feeling much better. I don't know if it was the way I was laying back in the chair ot the lights or what, but it was a little freaky. Once I was home, I laid on my side for a while until I got a reassuring kick and then took a little nap. The whole thing was a little strange.
We had a great weekend. We went up to Mount Baldy to this cabin Shane's great-grandpa built many years back with some new friends from church. There ended up being eight of us there and we played games, hiked a bit, talked, and ate all kinds of good stuff. It was really fun and we had a good chance to get to know each other. We had to leave Maeby at home and she has been so very sweet since we have been back. She stays right where you are, on top of you if she can be and talks, purrs, and wants to be pet nonstop. She is the sweetest cat there is and I can't imagine what we would do without her. She is also very spoiled and I can't imagine what it will be like once this baby comes.
As far as the baby news goes, we have an appointment next Tuesday where we will have another ultrasound. We aren't holding our breath, but we are hoping baby might cooperate this time. I have a lot of work ahead of me to prepare the nursery and so on. I put in for a part time position at work, although I probably won't even get a chance to start working part time until the middle of October. I just need to get organized and start working on my projects little by little. December will be here before we know it.

I was suposed to have my 6 month cleaning this month, but I have put it off until January. Even though I don’t walk around queezy anymore, I get a gag reflex occasionally while brushing my teeth. I just figured it might be hard to have someone in my mouth for a long period of time. Your story confirmed it for me…I can wait a few months.

Dentist? What is that? I haven’t been for about 10 years. I am too scared to go, what if I have a cavity? I have never had one before. I am also scared to find out the status of my wisdom teeth. Man, I thought I was a tough guy…I guess not.
I saw the cabin and the belly pics on Shane’s page. The trip looked fun. I hope you guys have a girl. I think Shane would really enjoy a girl. Although a Shane Jr. would also be a blessing, scary, but a blessing.
