I know I have talked about how amazing our kitty is in the past, with her ability to fetch and all, but I just recently discovered one of her other crazy quirks that makes me believe she is part human or something. She is truly an amazing cat. Now, she can be very, very wild. Wild like a wild animal of the jungle. But other times she can be the sweetest, cuddliest cat you have ever seen in your whole life and she will melt your heart...even if you are allergic to cats or despise them for some reason. You would love my cat.

Anyway, she can be in one of her wildest animal moods and Shane or I can pick her, hold her any which way, and start patting her bottom or her little sides and she is gone. She is in kitty heaven. She will purr and sometimes fall asleep in ecstasy. She loves it. She loves being patted like a little baby. It is very funny and also very adorable. I think she would stay in my arms for hours if my hand could sustain the patting. Eventually, we have to stop in order to do something productive and set her down. She is usually wild again and trying to climb up on the table and crouch behind the laptop, where she thinks she can't be spotted and told to get down. The ears and tail give her away every time. She is just the cutest thing in the world. If you think you don't like cats, you should come on by and spend a little time with our Maeby. Play a little fetch, give a little pat and she will win you over to the kitty side.

Tisra:

She sounds adorable. But, I’m afraid, that even if I were around the corner from you guys that I wouldn’t be able to see her. Literally. My eyes would puff out so much that I’d be left with little watery slits. It happened to me last week at a friend’s house. I’m wondering if there is some preventative medicine I can take if I know I’ll be at a “cat person’s” house. Otherwise, I rarely suffer allergies and it’s not worth being on drugs all the time for rare instances.
