Not a lot has changed since I last posted. The weeks are flying by and I am going to have a little kid before I know it. I can hardly believe it!

I have one more week of work and I will officially be on maternity leave. I am about 36 1/2 weeks right now. I suppose many people would say I am still pretty small, but I feel massive. This little guy is constantly kicking my ribs. I know it's got to feel pretty tight in there. I am hoping every day that I will wake up and he will have dropped, moving down a little bit to free my ribs of the kicking he inflicts upon them on a daily basis. He is still pretty high, I guess. We have doctor's appointments every week now and our last lamaze class is this Thursday night. We have learned a lot at lamaze...more about the actual birthing process than breathing, really. I have enjoyed it. Mostly because Shane has to give me massages and stuff while I get to relax.

I had my first baby shower last Saturday. I couldn't believe it. I am still in awe. We were given so much stuff. I can't even begin to tell you how much stuff we got. And I have three more showers! It was a little overwhelming. I spent the afternoon trying to organize the little guy's room. It looks a lot better now and everything is pretty much put away. I think this kid has more clothes than I do.

I have a lot to do over the next few weeks and I am feeling a little pressure about all of it. I have to get my stuff organized to take to the hospital, I need to clean my house (the big stuff-like, the showers and the floors and stuff) and I need to finish Christmas shopping and wrapping. I am just about done with the shopping part. Only the really tough people are left. I am sure there are a million other things I need to do and I will remember them all tonight at 3 AM when I cannot for the life of me fall asleep. Again.

Tisra:

So glad to get an update. I know what you mean about the list of things to do that pops into your head at 3am. Every time I think that I am nearly ready, I remember another task that could really be done. I’d really rather sit with my feet up all day and knit and watch movies. That would be w o n d e r f u l.
