There is a lady at church that was pregnant the same time that I was pregnant with Ethan. We just found out yesterday that she is pregnant again. It kind of shocked me. I think it was only this last week that I discovered our kids aren’t babies any more. They are toddlers. They are little boys. I think that was what really shocked me. I always thought I would have several kids and that they would be two years apart. That would mean it was time right now. To get pregnant. I can’t even imagine. I mean, I know it wouldn’t mean that I would have Ethan where he is right now and then another little one on top of that because Ethan will be a totally different kid in 9 months. I just can’t imagine it. I just don’t feel quite ready. I don’t know what we would do with another kid. We have no room. I don’t know that our moms would be as willing to watch two kids while I worked. We are just making it as it is with this one. It is crazy to think about being pregnant again, but I imagine I will really warm up to the idea sometime in the near future. Ethan will have a brother or sister, I am sure of that. I am just not sure when.

Yeah, Lael isn’t a “toddler” yet. And it shocks me to think that Dean was younger than her when we got pregnant this last time. But it was purposeful- we had changed our minds about having another kid and wanted to “just get the baby stage over with” rather than start from scratch again a few years down the road. It’s been hard and is not ideal for everyone. Dean and Grant are nearly 3 years apart and that was a very easy transistion- very easy.

I think you should talk to David and Diane and get the lastest news. I don’t think anybody I’ve known was ever ready for a second or third baby, but God won’t give you anything you can’t handle. So, even if you think you can’t manage the baby sitting while you’re at work or the space in the house, have faith and God will provide!! I’d be excited to see you guys have another!!

Nemo was a lot of fun. After church we hit a few caches up here and then we headed down to SD and hit a lot. It was fun treking around places that we’re not familiar with. Keeps it interesting.

A lady at work had a kid a few months before Ethan, and when I found out she was pregnant again I could not believe it. It’s totally crazy. Maybe 3 years apart..?

Three years might be good. Then Ethan could even go to preschool part of the day. If we could afford preschool…. We will have to see.
