I am afraid to write about what I am about to write about because I know that Shane will bring it up to me in the future during one of my weaker moments, but I think that I have to confess.
I am a cookie addict.
I can’t help myself. And because I cannot help myself, the ingredients for making cookies and any tempting prepackaged cookies will no longer reside in my house. Except for Ethan’s cookies. Which I sometimes help myself to. I will just have to exercise self control.
So, lately, the winning recipe:
Preheat oven to 350
1 cup peanut butter (creamy OR chunky…both work well) 1 cup sugar 1 egg
Mix it all together, place on ungreased cookie sheet. Smoosh them criss-crossed with a fork dipped in sugar. Bake 8-10 minutes. Quick, easy, and way to tasty.
Someone please enjoy them for me. Shane will never let me make them again after my confession. I am sure he already knew I was a cookie monster. It was just unspoken until now.

I am a cookie addict too! Andrew baked some chocolate chip cookies two weeks ago, and I ate six a day. Now I’m not allowed to have any!!!!

You never were on my case! I just knew I would feel guilty after confessing my addiction even if you didn’t say a word. It’s me, not you!

You got me laughing AND wanting cookies. It’s terrible that the recipe is so esy and requires so few ingredients…I might have to make them. Sadly, I am a whatever-is-sweet-or-buttery-or-creamy addict. I have little self control and have a criminal sweet tooth.

I too have little self control and a criminal sweet tooth. That is such a perfect description. The recipe is way too easy and very tasty for how easy it is.
