Did anyone know you could buy caskets at Costco.com? Can you return it if you don’t like it?

I think I like the Mother Casket by Universal the best. Also the most affordable.

Very odd.

I noticed this last time we went to their site! Totally weird. But I still love Costco.

The other day I saw some John Deer Tractor caskets in the paper…nice.

I’ve seen so many caskets when I was on funeral detail. Once, the family couldn’t afford a casket so they just had the body laying out there with a flag drapped over it. Creepy! Thank goodness I didn’t go to that one.

It’s amazing how expensive everything is. I have a neighbor that is battling cancer. He and his wife were talking to me about how much a funeral costs, not to mention the burial, newspaper article, and casket. It is incredible. Kind of makes you wonder if the grief stricken are being taken advantage of.

That is really creepy, Amanda. I can’t see how that could be legal…to bury them like that anyway…but what do I know? Cremation seems a lot cheaper, when you look at the price of urns versus caskets, especially at Costco.

I have no doubt that the funeral industry is taking advantage. They know people will pay whatever they have to for their loved ones and I am sure they market on that. It is too bad.

But if you get cremated how can your body rise again?

erika:

I have no doubt God would be able to put all the ashes back together if it really matters. I am not sure which way is the way to go, though. I certainly don’t want to be sitting on anybody’s mantle in some freaky urn with dolphins on it.
