Today was a good day for a few reasons.

For one, I don’t think I mentioned this before, but I am in charge of the toddler “class” at church. We desperately needed something for the billion little one to two year olds at church and I decided to be the one to get the thing started. It has been a little bit stressful and there have been a lot of hiccups along the way over the last two months of getting it going. But today, for the first time, it seemed to go really well. Ethan had a fun time (he has cried and asked for me repeatedly the last few weeks), no one threw up (happened last week after a crying fit…not Ethan), and I actually got to sit through the sermon and worship (I am often manning the class, as people don’t show up or are sick or whatever). It was a relief and an answer to many prayers this last week.

For another, I was given by a dear friend, who is also pregnant (Krista) a box of clothes about a size or two bigger than what I normally wear. It was like Christmas! A box of clothes that fit me much more comfortably than my own. I have a new wardrobe! And not only that, there are tons of pants…jeans, black pants, khaki pants, capris…more than I currently own! There is so much to choose from! I am very excited. A new, free wardrobe for a month or two (hopefully).

I haven’t really been blogging a lot lately, mostly because the one thing I want to talk or write about has been forbidden until today.

So. We are expecting baby number two.

I am ten weeks along and we had our first doctor’s appointment and ultrasound last week. Our little peanut appears to be healthy and we are very excited.

Our due date is March 20, 2007. I am feeling pretty good lately, other than feeling a little bit more tired than usual. Most days include a nap for mommy while Ethan is napping himself. I am hoping I am past the morning sickness (which was really all the time sickness) thing. I have been feeling better for about a week or so now.

Well, I think that is it for now. I am very very happy to have the news out in the open. It is hard to keep secrets like that! We’ve known for six weeks now. We are pretty good secret keepers. Even Ethan.

My new favorite thing:

Tangerine Frappuccino Ice Blends

I think I could have one every day. I had mine with soy. It tasted kind of like an Orange Julius. It could become a bad habit….
