My new favorite thing:

Tangerine Frappuccino Ice Blends

I think I could have one every day. I had mine with soy. It tasted kind of like an Orange Julius. It could become a bad habit….

Hmmm. I avoided this one because I always want a substantial, creamy, heavy, dessert-y drink when I go to Starbucks. Something rich. This just sounded too juicy. But maybe I’ll try it next time. I love tangerines.

With the soy added in, it seemed more substantial that just a tangerine icey. I don’t know if I would like the plain one as much. I recommend it with soy.

Erika,

Is it really sour? I haven’t had one yet.

Ok-I had a sample of the regular tangerine frapuccinno and it is sour-ish and definetly not as good as with soy. With soy, it really tastes a lot like an orange julius and not very sour (and very very tasty).

I’m up in the States for a few days, so I decided to try it, but the “barista” where I went told me that soy was not an option with this drink. (“It’s just, like, a juice thing,” she explained.)

I went ahead and got it anyway, but wasn’t overly impressed. It seemed kind of watery. Maybe I need to try another Starbucks (aka *$).

The pomegranate one sounds interesting, too.

You definitely need it with soy for it to be any good.
