We just got home from a free trip to Legoland with Nana and I am tired. Ethan had a great time and was a lot of fun to watch. He is so serious about everything around him as he takes it all in. He loves it there and really enjoys seeing all the kids and rides and lego-things. He was so good and stayed right with us. He was very tired at the end of our afternoon and was so cuddly in my arms. It was my favorite part.
I am feeling under the weather. It’s been coming on for the last few days and I tried to play it off like it was allergies and because of the change in weather, but I think I have caught something. I have a heavy head. It is stuffed up and my nose is runny and I am coughing some. I am tired. I have to work tomorrow. That makes me sad. Work is busy. I don’t like having a runny nose or cough at work. I doubt my patients like me to have a runny nose or cough at work, either. I am going to try to go lay down and rest a little before Ethan wakes up and we have to play.

I always wondered about what Legoland was like. It seemed neat! I am sorry that you are feeling bad. A warm bath and some hot tea with honey always makes me feel better.

I am feeling a little bit better post-nap, but I am still not sure what to do about work tomorrow. I have had quite a bit of tea the last few days, so I hear you on that one. I am not a bath person, especially since baths now involve a lot of splashing and squirty toys. I would rather just lay in bed in my pajamas with a book.
Legoland was very cool, but more for littler kids. I don’t think I would want to go there without Ethan.

Yeah, I can see how splashing and squirty toys could kind of impede the relaxation factor. :) I’m sorry that you have to work. Is there any way that you could switch with someone?

Well, I am not going tomorrow. Ethan’s cuddliness was because he is sick. He woke up with a 101.8 temperature and is not his normalbusy boy self. So I called in sick and that was my answer. Hope we are well by Monday (that is when I work next). Hope we are well by tomorrow!

Oh! And can I add that I’ve started checking out the awesome crafty links you’ve got in the sidebar. Wow. Inspiration. Although, I need to bookmark them on my computer rather than keep returning to Erika’s blog for my “fix”. That Anna Maria person?! Wow. Five kids and a heap of creative projects. Me? Ideas fly left and right, but do I create half the things in my head? No. She leaves me with no excuses. :-) I wonder if she sleeps.
