Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas (a little late) to everyone! We had a very nice Christmas eve and day with both sides of our family. Ethan was a little overwhelmed by all of the activity and present opening. He did at one point (with his dad’s prompting) follow in his Uncle Andrew’s footsteps and open his presents with his teeth.
He received a train table for Christmas from his Grammie and Grandpa. It is awesome and he has already spent several hours playing with it, but it is huge. I knew it would be, but we couldn’t pass it up. It was a good deal and looked so cool. The problem is, we have a lack of space. Ethan’s room is already becoming Ethan and Tegan’s room and a big boy bed will soon join the crib in the room. His room is small to start with. And now we have this train. I don’t want it in the living room, where it currently resides, but I don’t know if it will fit in his room. I don’t know what to do. It can’t go in the office. I also don’t really want it in our room. It is tough. I have decided we either need to move or add on. This week.

It’s a little late, but here is a picture of Ethan at his 2nd birthday. He had a very fun time running around the backyard with lots of friends. I can’t believe how big he is.
