Monique’s quilt, originally uploaded by Ladygirl.

Here is the quilt I made for my friend’s birthday. I love it. I want to keep it. I think it turned out awesome and I am hoping she will love it as much as I do.

It actually made me gasp, it is so lovely. The subtle color changes are calming, and delicate at once. What size is the quilt? Well done, Erika. Wow.

Thanks, Tisra. It is 71 inches by 60 inches. It’s more of a thorw or something, although it looks really nice on my bed:) I am considering making another just like it for me. It was a lot of work, though. A lot of hand sewing in addition to quilting. If I do make another one, it will have to wait a while as I already have another quilt idea in the works that needs to come next. This one won’t be as intricate, but I am excited to get started on it.

I love it! I have so many quilt half started that hopefully after school and the marines, I’ll be able to bring some of them back out. Anyways, congrats on finishing a projoct, I’m not so good at that either!

Okay. It worked before, so I’ll give it another go:

“More Tegan pics, please!”
