I have been considering putting Ethan in preschool at some point in the future. Especially because I am going back to work in just a little over a month and our wonderful mothers will be watching the kids again. I am very aware of how much work this will be for them and Ethan going to “school” for half the day would greatly lighten the load, but I also think he would really enjoy it. He loves his class at church and he does great there. He is a big helper and a better listener than at home. Anyway. today I passed the church where I went to elementary school and my brother Andrew went to preschool a milllion years ago and they are enrolling for the fall. They only have enrollment in the fall and they fill up fast. They currently only have two Tuesday-Thursday spots left. After that, you have to go on a waiting list until someone drops out. I have heard it is one of the best ones around, it is really close, and it is a place that I have fond memories of (although I am sure it is very different now). I think we could afford it, especially if I worked an extra shift every month or two. It is a little sooner than I had planned on sending him (I was thinking of after the new year), but I think we will pray about it and go from there. It’s a big step for all of us!

We have a great christian preschool here that Shelby goes to and that Gabi went to for 2 and a half years. Shelby goes half days Mon-Fri and that’s enough for her even at 4. She comes home singing “Jesus Loves Me” at the top of her lungs.I think it gives them a great head start and not to mention it gets them out of the house! We are blessed that my in-laws pay the tuition, otherwise we couldn’t afford it,it’s about $450 a month!

Tues/Thurs would of course mean that I would still have him on Mondays, right? I really look forward to having them both. And remember too, I could sign him into BSF for the fall and just plan on picking him up every Wednesday, that would give you a little break in the morning.

Wow. $450 a month! This place is under $200 a month for 2 days. I don’t know how much it would be for the whole week.
I don’t know how it will work, Nana. If it is two days a week, it has to be Tues and Thurs, so I would most likely be working at least one of those days if not both. I can’t do Monday and Tuesday for work. We will have to see how it all works out. It stresses me out to think about it (it=work).
I thought you were planning on taking him to BSF. If you are wanting to, I am cool with that:)

Ethan will do great, I just hope he doesn’t get so smart that he goes to college at age 12 and then falls heavily into a gambling addiction because no one understands his brilliant mind. Kisses to both Bonham babies. I am bummed I didn’t get to go last night… stupid house. Ask me later why my water at the new place is now shut off…
