I learned something pretty amazing while watching Ellen a month or so ago and I hadn’t had a chance to write about it. I want to write about it because it is a life changing thing for me and I want to share it with all of you too!
I NEVER can remember what side my gas tank is on in my car. I doubt I am the only one who has this problem. I am constantly trying to look out the window in my side mirrors to find out which side it is on as I am pulling up to the pump. So here it is… if you look at the gas gauge in your car, next to the little picture of the pump, there is an arrow. Whichever way the arrow is pointing, that is the side your pump is on. Amazing. Why did I not know this before? It is not like this in all cars-the Jetta doesn’t have an arrow, but I think most cars do have it. I was very excited to discover this and I will tell you that I have used that arrow several times since that episode of Ellen. Oh, Ellen, she is amazing!

I learned about it when I had the Ranger, and was thrown for a loop when I realized that the Jetta didn’t have one. It still took a while in the Ranger before I actually noticed it though. I’m with you about Ellen. Her show is so great. The humor is simple, but hilarious!
