Just a quick update-
Tegan woke up once at 4ish, I think, but magically I went back to sleep (minus ear plugs…the fan somehow drowned the crying out this time or maybe she stopped and went back to sleep quickly?)
Ethan had a rough time going to sleep, desperate for his cup of water, promising he would be dry for “a lot of water.” We didn’t cave (I gave him a little right before bed and he had a cup with dinner). He was up again at 10 and I made him go to the bathroom. And, as he promised, he was dry in the morning. I am feeling good about things today. I think I got 8 hours of sleep! Hopefully, today will be a dry day again.
Thanks to everyone for your encouragement and prayers. I feel like this has become a sleep/potty blog. I will change the subject soon. It’s just that my life has been consumed by these things. But, maybe we are getting somewhere!

hurray!!!! It is a good day! For you! We were up at 5:15, the sun was not even up. I so did not appreciate it and when I told Jacob the sun wasn’t even up he should try and go back to bed he said “that’s o.k. Mom, me not tired.” It’s o.k.? O.k. with who? Let me know if you would like Jacob and Annika to come over for a visit? I could leave them for a couple of hours and be totally fine with that. I am sure Jacob would like to wash some sheets too. Now that it would seem things are under control at your place maybe we can mix it up a bit? It would appear that my little ones are a out of control.

I am having cat woes…. Talk about not sleeping at night. He woke me up 6 times last night, and today I am truly grumpy. Is it illegal to saw the paws off a cat so they cannot scratch on the bathroom door? Or how about the grinding of teeth so one, Jesse, cannot CHEW/CRUNCH on my crystal dresser knobs? And why in the world did anyone let me name him “Jesse James American Outlaw Woodson?” Good lord he lives up to that name. Angel by day, demon by night.
