Well, it got me. Early Tuesday morning and laid out all day yesterday. It was awful. I feel much better today and haven’t thrown up in over 24 hours. I hate throwing up. But, who likes it?
Thank the Lord for the help I had. Shane was a good nurse, bringing me saltines and 7-up and gatorade (to help me run faster). My mom took the kids and I rested and rested and rested. And today, both my kids took a two hour nap and I was able to rest. Ethan doesn’t take naps anymore, so that was a miracle. He offered to “sleep in a bear cave (the couch with cushions on top of him) so when I wake up you will feel better.”
I do feel better. What a great family I have.

We are sick here. Three down, two to go (the cat had a little something as well as both boys). Not good. It seems Ethan might have a lighter case than Shane, having only thrown up once, in the hallway, all over the carpet last night. Can’t blame the kid, he tried to make it somewhere other than his bed. I am dreading Tegan getting it. Babies have no clue or warning about throwing up. And diarrhea. Oh man. No good. So I am hoping and praying the two of us stay healthy. We’ll see….

I just finished another really good book, Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. Shane’s mom leant it to me probably over a year ago and I was in the middle of a series so it took me a while to get to it. Even then, I had to restart it twice (not because of the book itself, I was just having a hard time getting to it). But once I started, I read it in three days. My kids watched a lot of TV yesterday because it kept calling to me. I couldn’t put it down. Really great book.
