Ethan and I have a new craft that we can’t seem to get enough of. Shrinky dinks. They are so much fun! And free! You just use number 6 plastic, which you can’t recycle where we live, and there it is! We have had a lot of fun with it, however we do not have as much number 6 plastic as we wish we had. It has been fun letting Ethan go at it, drawing whatever he likes. He drew Tegan the other day and it is the most precious thing I have ever seen. I tried to take a picture, but it didn’t really work, so you will just have to imagine a little blue Tegan drawn by a three and a half year old. It is also very cool (for the both of us) to watch the shrinky dink shrink. I highly recommend everyone start saving your number 6 plastic and give it a try. It’s lots of fun and it’s addicting.

No WAY! I can’t wait to try this… C’mon #6 plastic!!! (We can only recycle 1 and 2… so hopefully there will be some soon now that I’ll be looking for it)

When I was a little one we had shrinky dink Christmas ornaments. They were Mickey Mouse and Friends. We loved them. I have now scoured my house for #6 plastic and given strict orders to James to bring home all used salad containers from work (he loves bringing me home the “trash”). Thank you, thank you, thank you for such a brilliant idea.
