caterpillar and butterfly, originally uploaded by Ladygirl.

Last week, Ethan, Tegan, Grammie, Grandpa and I went to the Zoo and Balboa Park. We took the kids to the Children’s Zoo for the first time. I didn’t really even know it was there, but it was great. The kids had a good time and it was just the right size/amount of time for us to spend there. They had quite a few of these little photo op spots. It was incredibly hard to get a picture of the two of them in one. This was one of the best shots. It was a long, fun day!

Too sweet! And, yeah, I didn’t know there was a children’s zoo, either. We went to the fair a few weeks ago, and they had a “poke your head through” thingy that had 3 holes. I was so excited to get this cute picture of the kids. Well, out of 10 digital frames (thank god for digital!), we never got one of all three piking their head through at the same time!

When we were there, I remembered being there when I was a kid, but I seriously had no idea it was there. It is over by the skyfari if you keep walking to the left after you enter the front gate. By the face painting…that costs $27 to paint your kids whole face (I still can’t believe it…$27!)

So cute! I love it! I haven’t been to the zoo since I was a little kid. What beautiful insects you have Erika!
