Did anyone watch Sarah Palin’s speech last night? I was impressed with her. I am not too up on politics or news for that matter, but I feel like I have been paying a little bit more attention lately. Anyway, I liked her speech but my absolute favorite part was when her little daughter Piper was slicking her baby brother’s hair down with her spit on her hand. It was precious.

I watched it. She seems like a pretty cool Mom, but I’m not sure she’s fit for a VP position. I’m not sure how anyone can be sure really. Due to the fact that she’s virtually unknown. The closenst she’s been to Washington has been Washington State.

Okay, I’ve been one of the coveted “undecided voters” out there this whole time. No one has wowed me. And I still don’t know who I’ll vote for this time, but I was impressed with Sarah Palin. I think that her speech was well written and well delivered. I know she didn’t write it herself, but she surely had to believe the things in the speech, right? Or what is the point in saying them? I thought she seemed strong, and like-able, and well-rounded. I am most surprised that the democrats are tearing her apart over the fact that she’ll have to- gasp- have a job and be a mother. I thought those were the people who were so forward thinking, and pro woman’s rights. If anyone wouldn’t embrace her, you’d think it would be the conservative Republicans.
On a less Sarah-specific note, what job can a person have that they are consider truly prepared for vice presidency pr presidency? I mean, apart from being vice president, or actual president… isn’t being a senator or being a governor a pretty good step toward a huge public office? Isn’t not like they’re plumbers or hair stylists! Especiall for Sarah Palin- she’s a GOVERNOR. As far as American territory is concerned, what is bigger than running a STATE? The nation, right?
I hate the mudslinging, too. It kind of made me sick to watch all the jabs last night and all of the self-righteous “fans” of the GOP. I guess I don’t think it’s as black and white as red and blue.
Okay, that’s all.
