It bums me out that I don’t often remember my dreams, but I had one the other night and it is still kind of cracking me up.

I have been making a lot of meals for people lately. Babies, surgery, etc. So, I was trying to get to someone’s house to deliver them a meal. I have known these people my whole life, though we have kind of fallen out of touch with them. They were living at a house they probably lived in over 20 years ago and I was headed there, but the road wasn’t there anymore and I was driving and driving and driving. I finally get there, flustered and walk in. And all I have for them is a can of split pea soup. I promise that I have never delivered anyone a can of split pea soup before and I never will. So odd.

That’s one of those “endless journey, fruitless trip”-type dreams. I have those in times of stress. Like, 10 planes to get somewhere and then the cab driver says the address has changed and they can’t take me there. But, your dream is funnier. I, too, like split pea soup. :-)

I like it too, but I don’t think they liked it and I was very stressed out the can was all I had…not a good choice when bringing a family a meal.
