little friend, originally uploaded by Ladygirl.

Ethan made this little planter with a cross in it at preschool on Thursday and we set it on the front porch. As you can see, it has a little ladybug friend who has decided to make this cross her home. She has been here since Thursday, hanging out on the cross, inside the rose. It is too sweet. Every time we go outside, we take a look to make sure she is still there. And there she sits!

I’ve read that ladybugs are territorial so you may have a permanent resident. :)

What a sweet little lady! What a nice Easter guest:) Even the ladybug knows the need to cling to the cross.

Well, it seems that Schooler (as he was named by Ethan) is gone. I am assuming he got hungry. Thanks for the visit, little guy!

I didn’t mention that when it all started, there were two lady bugs, a big one and a little one. The little one (named Dumper) only stayed a day. Dumper. Cracks me up.

He told me the other day we needed to have a baby girl and we would name her Tallullah. He is full of great names!

Someone I know from Vista High has a daughter named Tallullah now. :-)
