My desk where I sit at work on most days is right next to a window. I work on the 5th floor so we are pretty high up there. I was sitting at the desk and something outside the window kept catching my eye. Half way through the day, I looked out and noticed there is a tree right outside the window and the top of the tree is just a little bit lower so that I can look right out and see the top of the tree. And right on the top of the tree is this huge crow’s nest. I couldn’t believe how big it is. The crow parents were flying all around and sitting on the nest throughout the day. I couldn’t see inside to tell if it is eggs or babies, but something is going on and I felt like I was getting a sneak peek. Not really a big fan of crows really, at all… but I think it is very cool that I was able to see them. After noticing them, I also began to notice that they were crowing. An awful lot. For 12 hours. It was still worth it.

Isn’t the little balcony thingy at the top of a mast called a “crow’s nest”?
Anyway, quite neat. Makes the work day a little unusual, I’m sure.
