Yay, I was able to do a little sewing! I used the tutorial on Joy’s Hope and it turned out super cute, I think. I will do the ribbons a little differently next time, folding them under so they aren’t scratchy. I bought supplies to make three of these, maybe all for her. I would think they would be comfy in the hot summertime. It was almost impossible to get a picture of her in it. It probably took me 45 minutes to make with two little helpers at my side. The next ones will go faster, I am sure.

I LOVE that picture. It feels so quiet and sweet- a true snippet of her childhood. *Much * better than a posed shot with a grin. :-) Lovely little thing!

Oh yes, Teegie looks lovely in her dress! I love that picture Erika! Have you been using the new(er) camera more? I loved that look on her face when you asked her if she wanted to model it for me… she loves the dress just as much as we all do!

I have been using the newer camera. The problem is the lens. You have to be pretty far away to get a good shot sometimes. I don’t think it is me getting better at taking pictures, it is the camera.
I have made a total of three dresses and at this point, she wants nothing to do with them. I have even named them for her to make it more exciting!
