I should have mentioned this ages ago, but my dearest friend Georgia and I ventured up to LA for the coolest craft fair that ever was. While up there, I was the luckiest friend and got to wear one of Georgia’s amazing crowns while up there. We received constant compliments and handed out a gazillion business cards. You can check out her lovely creations at her etsy shop. Boy, does that gal have talent!
We had a fun day yesterday! Our sweet little friend Jack came to play and the kids had a blast. I think my kids probably said Jack’s name a hundred times over the course of the day, they couldn’t get enough of him and wanted all of his attention. They were so cute, the three of them sitting on the chair. Can’t you tell from their expressions that they were having a blast?
I am very excited about this project! I made this pillow using this pattern from Posy Gets Cozy. Her blogs is one of my favorites and although I didn’t follow the pattern to a tee, I love the results. I think the recipient will as well;) I think the piping adds so much to it and I can’t wait to make more. Love them. I will have to be careful or they might take over my house!
We have been so busy this summer, constantly on the move. I thought I would post a picture of our sweet little princess. She decided to garnish her Popsicle with some dirt. She is looking more like her daddy every day!
Today was Ethan’s last day of swimming lessons. He was a really good sport and it did seem like he improved overall. It was really cute to watch him. He was very tentative about the whole thing and very serious about it. But he would do everything he was told to do and said he had fun. The best part was playing afterwards in the play pool where they had tubes and tunnels in about one to two feet of water. Both kids enjoyed it. Now we have to find some pools to go practice in!
What a sweet summer day. Here is a picture of the kids on a blanket Ethan put out on the grass for our picnic. I snuck a picture because they just looked so stinking cute laying out there, looking at the sky. I love those two!
