A while ago I stumbled upon this and I absolutely loved it. I really really wanted to try making one so Tegan could have her own, personal flower fairy house. Last week, I broke out the glue gun and here it is. I really like it, but I really love the one in the tutorial. I am thinking it will be a Christmas present, but I might hold unto it a bit longer… I don’t want it to be immediately destroyed. It is supposed to be worn as a necklace. I had a hard time finding the right sized match box and ended up using one we picked up in Prague. My favorite part is the little fairy. I really like her.

I love it! What a cute idea. As far as the match box goes, my daughter makes little boxes like that all the time. I bet if you used some cardstock you could make more, and make them whatever size you needed. :)
