We spent yesterday afternoon making a gingerbread house at my mom’s. It has been a tradition she started with Ethan (maybe when he was two) and they have done together every year since. This year, Tegan was included and because of the crazy amounts of candy, frosting, and crazy little children with candy and frosting, I was invited along to help. It was a lot of fun and turned out so cute! Notice their expressions. Tons of candy was consumed.

Nana:

And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled ’till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.
