We are PINK here! My mom made these cupcakes with the kids yesterday and delivered them to us this morning, before our ultrasound. I don’t think she meant anything other than Valentine’s love, but I took it as a sign. We are having another girl! I always wanted a sister. Both kids wanted it to be a girl. Tegan informed us that she doesn’t have to be sad now (implying she would have been sad if it had been a brother). We are just happy all appears to be well and we have a sweet, healthy little one<3

What incredible insight your Mom had! ;-) There is nothing quite like watching a sister bond (or even a brother bond) in action… it warms the heart. You and I both missed that growing up, so I think you’ll appreciate watching it play out between Tegan and Baby Girl. You’ll also empathize with Ethan’s Only Boy status. It’s going to be amazing! Congratulations on a healthy little blessing!

I totally agree, Tisra. Although the thought crossed my mind of having another to try for a brother for Ethan. But three girls??? I don’t know if he would appreciate that.

I remember when Brian and I watched Becky, she was about 3, play with our friends little girl. Becky was loving it, having been surrounded with boys and boy toys. We looked at each other both thinking should we go for #5? What a wonderful gift and a wonderful adventure you are about to embark on! We’re tickled pink!
