My sweet friends Monique, Georgia, and Krista (who somehow avoided getting her picture taken with me) threw me THE loveliest baby shower on Sunday. I am not exaggerating. It was lovely. They went all out and instead of a cutsey baby theme, they made it modern french with French soda (which was delicious and I wish I could drink every day) with red and white striped straws, and the most amazing french desserts. They were delicious. Chocolate covered strawberries, macarons, chocolate sprinkle balls (I don’t know exactly what they were, but I could eat them every day while sipping my French soda), madeleines dipped in chocolate, cream puffs, petite cupcakes frosted to perfection… I am sure there was more. It was unbelievable. I was surrounded by dear friends who prayed for me and our little girl. It was so special to spend some time in prayer with those close to me and to share my concerns and requests with them. And then there were the presents. Unbelievable. We are blessed beyond measure. I am so appreciative of the time and love the girls spent putting it together as well as the time my friends spent coming together to celebrate the arrival of our next little girlie. Thank you to everyone who helped out and to everyone who came and showered us with love<3
There are a few more pictures you can check out if you click on the picture above. I didn’t get too many of the whole crowd, but there are plenty of the delicious treats!

Wow. Wow. Wow. What a treat and incredible celebration. I must agree, that the prayers are the best part. When we got “Prayed Out” before adopting Dorothy, we felt completely loved and strengthened. Amazing friends you have, Erika!
(um, can I have some of those treats right now please!)

I know E, you got SO many lovely baby gifts, it was awesome!!!! It was a very memorable time… and I do agree, more French sodas! You know, I can get you syrup anytime and you could just buy sparkling water and cream - you could make little summertime treats! Smart & Final has so many more flavors too.. like Pomegranate… yum!
